About the RoleWe are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and driven Senior Revenue Accountant on a temporary contract basis to provide analytical and operational support to our Revenue team. This role is hands-on from day one you'll contribute to collections, revenue close validations, and rebate accounting, while supporting key projects that impact the broader revenue accounting process.What You'll DoExecute monthly accounting activities in NetSuite, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close-related deliverablesIndependently maintain accurate, audit-ready SOX control workbooks; validate input data accuracy and completeness via system reportsPrepare deal and contract summaries for significant transactions in accordance with ASC 606Support collection forecasting and accounts receivable managementAssist in the preparation of quarterly AR and Revenue Footnotes, ensuring all supporting schedules tie back to the general ledger and are audit-readyProvide support to the financial reporting process, including preparation of supporting schedulesParticipate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations for new product and service implementationsCollaborate cross-functionally to streamline the Order-to-Cash cycle and resolve complex billing bottlenecksSupport revenue accounting and order-to-cash cycle projects, as well as process improvement initiativesAssist with ad-hoc projects as needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning new workstreamsWhat You'll Bring5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Revenue AccountingBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong working knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX compliance requirementsDemonstrated collections experience and analytical skills in ARProficiency in NetSuite, Excel (advanced: complex formulas, data validation, large data sets), and SalesforceProven ability to prepare SOX control workpapers that stand independently under audit review and to articulate the intent behind each control, not just execute itExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentA continuous improvement mindset and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
