Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced, patient-focused MRI Technologists for outpatient clinic locations in Tacoma and Puyallup, WA. This is a 13-week full-time temporary assignment, ideal for imaging professionals who excel in fast-paced outpatient environments and are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care.This role offers consistent scheduling, a collaborative clinical culture, and the opportunity to support efficient outpatient operations across multiple clinic locations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols, safety standards, and physician orders.Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while prioritizing patient comfort, safety, and education.Accurately position patients and operate MRI equipment to obtain optimal images.Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety guidelines, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements.Complete thorough and accurate documentation within applicable medical record systems.Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and clinic staff to support patient flow and operational efficiency.Maintain professional conduct and contribute positively to a patient-centered outpatient environment.Available SchedulesTacoma, WAMonday–Friday | 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.Puyallup, WASaturday–Monday | 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.Saturday–Sunday + Tuesday | 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.Minimum RequirementsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in the radiology field.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – MR); as required by state regulations or contract specifications.Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.Minimum one (1) year of experience in a related field preferred.Current CPR certification, if applicable.Completion of TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.Current Health Certificate, per contract or state requirements.Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Must be at least 18 years of age.Successful completion of background screening and hiring process.Highly Qualified Candidates Will DemonstratePrior experience in an outpatient imaging environment.Two+ years' experience as a certified MRI Technologist preferredStrong working knowledge of MRI protocols and safety standards.Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary clinical team.Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability.Flexibility to support assigned clinic schedules and operational needs.Why This Opportunity?Consistent outpatient schedules with no overnight shifts.Opportunity to work in respected outpatient clinic settings.Supportive, collaborative clinical environment.Flexible contract structure well-suited for career mobility or stability.Meaningful contribution to patient-centered diagnostic care.How to ApplyIf you are an experienced MRI Technologist seeking a flexible outpatient opportunity in the South Sound area, we encourage you to submit your application for consideration.Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecksHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) savings planAwards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
