Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited OT school Experience 1–3 years in outpatient specialty required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure in the state of employment. AHA BLS certification required. Any other required certifications (e.g., ACLS). Epic computer charting required LYMPHEDEMA CERT REQ Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with state guidelines and policies and identify potential issues and propose corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and statistics, including staffing levels, inventory, and patient care. Maintain a professional and high standard of patient care and attend institutional staff meetings as directed. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Adult Outpatient, Rehab Facility; Patient Diagnoses include stroke, ortho (shoulder, hands, UE) and other neuro (MS, TBI, Guillan Burre); Required Skills include assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning.
