We are building the future of personalized skincare by combining laboratory science, data-driven insights, and consumer-focused product development.Role description: This is a contract, on-site position for a Research Laboratory Technician based in Woburn, MA. The Research Laboratory Technician will support day-to-day laboratory operations, assist with routine research activities, prepare and process samples, and help maintain laboratory equipment and organization.The role also includes operational and cross-functional responsibilities such as skincare product packaging, inventory management, kit assembly, supply coordination, and supporting collaboration across research, operations, and product teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment where scientific and operational responsibilities often overlap.Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, following laboratory safety and quality control procedures, assisting with microbiology and formulation-related tasks, and contributing to the smooth execution of research and product workflows.QualificationsStrong laboratory skills, including the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipmentExperience with basic research techniques, sample preparation, and laboratory organizationFamiliarity with microbiology, biochemistry, or skincare-related laboratory workflows is preferredStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to accurately collect, document, and process experimental dataComfortable handling operational tasks such as product packaging, kit assembly, labeling, and inventory coordinationAbility to work cross-functionally with research, operations, and product teams in a collaborative startup environmentStrong time management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyCommitment to laboratory safety standards and quality control proceduresBachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related fieldPrevious laboratory or biotechnology startup experience is preferred
