Malaria Program Technical Advisor

For our client, we are seeking a Malaria Program Technical Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.This role will provide technical and programmatic leadership for malaria initiatives across multiple countries, with a strong focus on supporting implementation in sub-Saharan Africa. The advisor will help shape work plans, technical guidance, and performance frameworks while partnering with in-country stakeholders, donors, and public health counterparts. This position also plays an important role in monitoring progress, strengthening reporting, and advancing innovative approaches that improve malaria control outcomes.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $142,000 – $183,500 annuallyResponsibilities Provide comprehensive program management for malaria initiatives across various countries. Enhance global technical engagement and support countries in implementing malaria innovations. Develop strategic frameworks and work plans for PMI-supported health programs, ensuring integration with other areas. Design and oversee new program instruments and performance metrics for malaria initiatives. Ensure compliance with Congressional reporting through timely and accurate documentation. Create technical guidance and training materials tailored for integrated malaria programs. Monitor program performance, propose strategies to address challenges, and document lessons learned.Qualifications Advanced expertise in malaria prevention and treatment programs, specifically in sub-Saharan Africa. 10+ years of experience in global health implementation and award management, particularly large-scale portfolios. Strong analytic skills for developing malaria performance metrics and milestone frameworks. Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse audiences. Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines. Familiarity with U.S. government regulations and processes, especially Congressional reporting.
