Brief DescriptionDescriptionSummaryThis position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. This position reports directly to CS Shipping.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentImmediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Shipping ManagerPractice proper forklift and yard vehicle operation and preventive maintenanceDaily check all inventory transactions from the material handlersMaintain and build job skills through company training programsUnload and receive all products and distributeProcess all RMA’s including inspections and delivery of product to correct locationOn a weekly basis maintain safety committee responsibilitiesConduct cycle-countsEnsure proper product rotationMaintain paperwork and product transfersFinished Goods quality inspectionsPromote good customer serviceConduct weekly forklift inspectionsAssist with any and all safety training for employeesJob SkillsThis position should possess the following skills/knowledge:Leadership, professionalism, organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of all GF productsReceiving proceduresBasic Inventory ManagementFamiliarity with BOM productsKnowledge of local shipping regulationsBasic mathematical skillsForklift vehicle driving skillsEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience1-2 years of forklift experiencePrevious customer service and/or warehouse experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 75 poundsAbility to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in extreme temperaturesPosition requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and the ability to mount/dismount industrial equipmentAbility to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
