Senior System Integration & Test EngineerRaytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support radar capability development. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, ready to make an impact in the aerospace and defense industry, we want you to join our innovative team driving the future of advanced radar systems.What You Will DoAssist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software, with a focus on systems running Linux-based operating environments.Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems under the guidance of senior engineers.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.Support system-level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test analysis.Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program-specific processes.Willingness to support 5-10% domestic travel.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Experience MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux, and/or Unix.Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.Experience with networking principles.Experience with Systems Integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.Experience working with X-Band radar systems.Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, operations of software in String/HWIL facility,Knowledge of RF systems, radar signal processing, and real-time systems.Practical knowledge of system security concepts and tools in Linux environments.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
