BACKEND JAVA DEVELOPER

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications while collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative solutions. If you are passionate about building high-performance applications and staying ahead of industry trends, we'd love to meet you!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.Maintain version control with Git and follow CI/CD best practices.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and development trends.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservices.Familiarity with relational and non‑relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle).Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.Soft SkillsStrong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skillsAbout Us STAND 8 provides end‑to‑end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and globally with offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Mexico, Japan, India, and more.
