We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Lead and contribute to teams developing algorithms, mathematical-physical models, and prototype software for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting (ISRT) and battlefield command and control (BMC2) applications.• Drive the development of new signal processing, image processing, multi-sensor data fusion, and resource optimization techniques.• Lead and support teams in creating and analyzing new modeling, simulation, and analytical methods and tools.• Contribute to the development and analysis of new ISRT concepts and architectures.• Oversee and participate in field tests and experiments, including planning, execution, and data analysis.• Document and present team results to managers, sponsors, and at technical workshops and conferences.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related field.• At least seven years of relevant technical experience.• Expertise in areas such as remote sensing, signal/image processing, data fusion, statistical analysis, mathematical optimization, pattern recognition, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.• Proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB, Python, C++, and Java, and experience in Linux environments.• Domain knowledge in ISR processes, US military and intelligence community systems, kill chain concepts, targeting, C2, and threat systems.• Proven ability to lead teams and complex technical efforts.• Active Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($100,000 - $245,000) plus benefits.• Opportunity to advance US defense capabilities through innovative technology development.• A collaborative environment encouraging creativity and new ideas.• The chance to work on cutting-edge challenges impacting national security.Apply via Haystack today!
