Duties & Responsibilities: Spotlight on Culture ? Advising city councils, boards, and commissions during public meetings and closed sessions. ? Mentoring Program ? Drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies. ? Professional Development ? Providing counsel on issues related to the Brown Act, Public Records Act, conflicts ? Child-Friendly Business Award of interest, and other public law matters. ? Community Engagement Projects ? Assisting with land use, zoning, and CEQA compliance. ? Collaborative Environment ? Handling matters involving public procurement, real property, and economic ? No Jerks Rule development. Focus on Schools and Community Qualifications Partnering with school districts, ? Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. community colleges, cities, counties ?
