The GCCS Tier 1 Systems Administrator will participate as a member of integrated government/contractor team of technical and functional experts in the conduct of Global Command and Command System - Joint (GCCS-J) administration; software application support, configuration management support, and IT support services supporting U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) GCCS services. The GCCS Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. Responsible for ensuring system availability and reliability of the Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J) and related GCCS Family of Systems (FoS) on the networks. HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Ensure COP availability to customerMaintain database instances (Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL)Create, work, and solve service requests using Service Now trouble ticketing systemMaintain and troubleshoot GCCS COP Server issues where they ariseMaintain Red Hat JBoss application servers.Maintain and troubleshoot Enterprise Linux OS issues where they ariseTroubleshoot Agile Client application issues where they arise.Assist in Site Specific Support as neededMaintain COOP CapabilityParticipate in COOP Tabletop Exercises (TTX), Functional failover Drills, and After-Action ReportingPower up and Power Down Data center following proper procedures. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Qualifications CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 IATT level II compliance.3+ year of experience in IT System Administration.3+ year of experience in Windows Server Operating Systems and/or Linux Operating Systems.Candidate must also be available for and willing to travel, including international deployment to austere environments up to 15% annually and for durations of up to one month at a time.Must have an active/current TS/SCI clearance and a valid U.S. passport.Desired: Experience Experience with the following systems: SEWS, Radiant Mercury, JRE, JTT,TADL, Link, ADSI, JTAGSExperience with: ICSF, COP, Agile Client, TMSWeb, KML/KMZ, MIL STD 2525D, ArcGIS, Google EarthAdaptable to changing circumstances and operational needsUnderstanding of Department of Defense Military standardsExperience with DoD IT security requirementsExperience with VmWare ESXi administrationStrong knowledge of Linux Server Operating Systems.Knowledge of virtualization concepts and products (VMware).Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and groups.Familiarity with Oracle/Sybase/Postgress database maintenance.Familiarity with Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).Familiarity with Linux/UNIX applications and services (NFS, SSH, NTP, LDAP, Ansible).
