This position is responsible for executing core payroll processes, maintaining data integrity, and supporting compliance across all payroll activities.You will partner closely with Finance and HR to ensure payroll information is complete and accurate, resolve discrepancies, and support a smooth and reliable payroll experience for employees. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organization, and accountability in handling sensitive information.OBJECTIVES Process payroll on a regular cadence, ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and paymentsReview and validate timekeeping data prior to payroll processing to ensure accuracyMaintain payroll records and systems in accordance with company policies and applicable regulationsReconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and help resolve issues in a timely mannerRespond to employee inquiries related to payroll, compensation, and deductionsPrepare payroll reports and assist with year-end processes, including W-2sEnsure payroll activities align with federal, state, and local regulationsPartner with the Finance team on payroll transaction recording and account reconciliationsCoordinate documentation and follow up items related to payroll auditsAdminister payroll-related deductions such as benefits, retirement contributions, and garnishmentsProcess payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, and employee updatesContribute to the upkeep and ongoing improvement of payroll systems and processesSupport additional responsibilities across Payroll, HR, and Finance as neededCOMPETENCIES High attention to detail with the ability to process payroll accurately and consistentlyWorking knowledge of payroll processes including deductions, taxes, and compliance requirementsAbility to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll dataOrganized approach to managing multiple deadlines and competing prioritiesDiscretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee informationEffective communication skills when responding to employee questions and coordinating across teamsProblem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues when appropriateEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE2 - 4 years of experience processing payroll in a multi-state environmentFamiliarity with basic accounting principles related to payrollExperience working within UKG payroll systemsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of sitting at a deskCOMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, 10X Health System recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
