Locum Physician Assistant Surgery CardiothoracicCleveland, OH Position Type:Locum Tenens Specialty:Surgery Cardiothoracic Location:Cleveland, OH Shift:7a 3:30p weekdays; 24-hour call (not in-house) including weekends and holidays Start Date:03/02/2026 End Date:13-week initial duration, potential extensionPosition Details: Patient Population:Adults Setting:Operating Room, ICU, Step-down units Responsibilities: Provide first and second assist in cardiac and thoracic surgery: Thoracic:Robotic, VATS, open thoracotomy (1st assist)Cardiac:CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aneurysms, dissections (1st & 2nd assist)Harvest saphenous vein endoscopically (Hemopro), radial or endoradial a plusManage ICU and step-down patients (cardiac & thoracic) Rounding on weekends and holidays 24-hour call coverage (not in-house) Cover multiple hospital sites within 15 minutes of each other Knowledgeable and able to chart in EPIC Privileges include temporary pacing wire removal, IABP manipulation/removal, vein & radial harvesting, chest tube sclerosis Schedule / Coverage: Weekday shifts: 7a 3:30p Weekend call: Fri Sun 24-hour call rotation (not in-house) Flexible coverage as needed across nearby hospitals Job Requirements: PA or CNP (Acute Care) with active OH license REQUIRED Experience in cardiac & thoracic surgery, including robotic thoracic ACLS & BLS REQUIRED CSR (Ohio) REQUIRED DEA REQUIRED Experience managing ICU & step-down patients REQUIRED Local candidates preferred Clean background and NPDB required at submission Not willing to license additional states Credentialing:Temporary privileges; standard verification required Join us today! by Jobble
