We are a site based school program serving over 400 students under the authorization of Dixon Unified School District.At DMCS, we blend core components of the Montessori philosophy (Kindergarten thru 6th) with a Project-Based Learning Style (7th thru 8th grades) to create a dynamic, "hands-on" learning approach. All Montessori and Project-Based curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards, and gives the students a well-roundedexposure to the many ways of learning.Dixon Montessori Charter School Job Description 2019-20 Title: Middle School Science Teacher Reports to: Executive Director Primary Function: Under the general supervision of the Executive director and other Administrators, certificated teachers are expected to provide a classroom program that supports and promotes the Mission and Vision of DMCS for the success of all students. Relationship to Student Achievement: This position directly supports student achievement of the California State Science Standards for the 7th and 8th grade.
