Maintenance MechanicAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving problems with existing systems. This includes analyzing system failures, performing repairs, and updating systems to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably. You will integrate mechanical components with electrical systems, ensuring seamless operation through wiring, connecting sensors and actuators, and programming control systems. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, tests, and modifications.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve system failures to ensure efficient and reliable operation.Integrate mechanical components with electrical systems for seamless functionality.Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, tests, and modifications.Collaborate with the team to design machines and devices combining mechanical and electrical controls.Demonstrate values of accountability, teamwork, and integrity in daily tasks.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting expertise in electromechanical systems.Corrective and preventive maintenance skills.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical wiring.Knowledge of pneumatics and blueprint reading.Experience with stamping and injection molding machines.Ability to work with 3 phase motors.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical system design and development.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electromechanical engineering and mobility.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northvale, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
