About Finley’s Finley’s is Downtown Round Rock’s neighborhood hangout with elevated food, craft cocktails, and polished, approachable service. We are a casual, full-service restaurant where hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism drive everything we do. We are seeking experienced Servers who want to grow with us and build a long-term career in hospitality. Position Overview As a Server at Finley’s, you are responsible for delivering polished, proactive, and memorable guest experiences from start to finish. This is a career hospitality role for someone with open weekend availability who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, accountability, and menu knowledge. Servers handle full table service and beverage knowledge during weekday shifts. Support staff is provided during high-volume periods, but Servers are expected to be self-sufficient, proactive, and detail-oriented on the floor. Hours: 15-25 hours per week Availability: Open availability preferred, weekends required (Saturdays and Sundays). Key Responsibilities Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service that reflects Finley’s standard of unreasonable hospitality Guide guests through the food and beverage menu with confidence, clarity, and enthusiasm Use knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and the menu to upsell and increase guest spend Maintain strong familiarity with Finley’s extensive whiskey and bourbon selection Execute full table service including taking orders, running food and drinks, and maintaining clean, organized sections Read guest cues and create a seamless dining experience while escalating guest concerns to management when necessary Follow all service, POS, and operational procedures accurately and efficiently Uphold Finley’s standards for punctuality, appearance, teamwork, and professionalism Support team members and maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment Finley’s Core Values We hire and promote team members who live by our values: Be Proactive and Punctual – Show up prepared and ready to perform Clock In / Lock In – Stay focused, accountable, and present during service Live to Learn – Constantly improve your product knowledge and service skills Unreasonable Hospitality – Deliver elevated guest experiences that go beyond expectations Qualifications Minimum 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant Strong hospitality instincts and a coachable, team-focused attitude Proficiency with Toast POS Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits; whiskey and bourbon knowledge is a plus Food Handler and TABC certification required Excellent communication, multitasking, and guest-service skills Ability to perform well under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and carry trays, bus tubs, and service items Compensation & Benefits $2.13/hour plus tips Shift meal or drink provided Employee discount Healthcare offered for eligible team members Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $2.13 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Paid training Vision insurance Application Question(s): What shifts are you currently available to work?
