Salary: $60 - $75 per hour A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-time Tax Manager to join our growing Consulting team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for tax accounting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in income tax and hold a CPA certification. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our company's state and federal tax forms. Why join us? Responsibilities: Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with business structures, transactions, and financial compliance. Review and prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm. Manage a client portfolio, providing high-quality service and developing strong advisory relationships. Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients; perform research and prepare/review technical tax memorandum.Job Details Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a heavy emphasis on taxation (at least 3 years of Manager level experience). Experience with income tax, corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth individual returns. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills.
