Databricks Data Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Business Services environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $113,000 – $188,000 annuallyResponsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and related tools Develop and support batch and streaming data workflows for data ingestion and transformation Write, optimize, and maintain Python, PySpark, and SQL code for data processing Work with large-scale datasets using Databricks, Spark, and cloud storage services Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures and performance issues Translate business and technical requirements into data engineering designs Document data pipelines, datasets, and engineering decisions for maintainabilityQualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or another relevant field 3-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud data platform implementation Strong experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL for data transformation and pipeline development Experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and similar cloud-native data platforms Proficient in developing batch or streaming data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate clearly in team environments Experience applying data governance and security practices within cloud platformsBenefits Flexibility for remote work within the U.S Comprehensive total rewards package Diverse and supportive workplace environment Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and data projectsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
