The Security and Protective Division at Bradburys Group is currently recruiting experienced Day-shift Security Officers (Relief) for positions across the UK.ResponsibilitiesFollowing an induction, on-boarding and training schedule, you will be required to:Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for allDemonstrate high customer-facing skills whilst remaining approachable and polite at all timesMaintain daily security events/activity logsEnhance the client’s brand identity and reputationDemonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety within the specific work environmentLiaise professionally with the police, client, management, visitors and contractorsLock/unlock buildingsIdentify and report any health and safety hazardsManage enquiriesSubmit reports and updates to operations managementRespond to alarm activationsEssential RequirementsMinimum of five years experience within the security industryValid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence in Front-line Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close ProtectionFive-year checkable work historyProof of Right to work in the UKExcellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)Immaculate appearance and high standards of personal hygieneAbility to work alone and as part of a teamAbility to adapt at all timesVigilant and alert at all timesExcellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindsetConfidence in your ability to manage difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional mannerExcellent time-keeping/time managementDesirable But Not EssentialSIA licence Public Space Surveillance (CCTV)Fire Marshal QualificationFull UK Driving licenceEmergency First Aid at Work or Emergency First AidUniform provided.Core Hours6-hour shifts8-hour shifts12-hour shifts
