Senior Cloud EngineerAustin, TX (Hybrid, only under 50 miles)Visa : No h1B and CPTState of TexasJob Desc:Senior Cloud Engineer (Hybrid Contract) Austin, TXWe are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a long-term hybrid contract supporting our Austin, Texas client's Cloud Infrastructure Architecture . This role is responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing cloud and identity services, with a strong focus on Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly collaborative, and experienced in enterprise migration and automation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and support enterprise cloud infrastructure architecture and system integrations.Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.Implement and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including AD/ADFS .Plan and execute cloud and platform migrations using established tooling and best practices.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Contribute to operational excellence through documentation, standards, and continuous improvement.Job Requirements:Required Qualifications7+ years of verifiable experience in systems design and cloud infrastructure architecture .2+ years (within the past 6 years) administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure cloud environments.Extensive experience with Active Directory (AD/ADFS) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) .Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and stakeholders.Proficiency with migration tools (e.g., Quest , Metalogix ) and automation platforms such as Azure DevOps .Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft certifications such as:Azure Solutions Architect ExpertMicrosoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator ExpertExperience leading or coordinating cross-functional engineering teams (Cloud, Networking, Infrastructure).Experience with security tools such as Proofpoint (email encryption) and Barracuda Cloud .
