We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-capitalized, multi-market operator seeking a Project Director to lead large-loss restoration and reconstruction projects. This organization is scaling aggressively and requires strong operational leadership to drive performance on complex, high-value projects.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Project Director to lead large-scale restoration and reconstruction projects, typically ranging from high six-figure to multi-million-dollar losses. This individual will own the full lifecycle of complex projects while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role operates within a high-accountability environment built on disciplined execution, speed, and scalable processes.What You'll Do1. Own the OutcomeTake full responsibility for large-loss projects from initial response through closeoutDrive project strategy across mitigation and reconstructionDeliver projects on time, on budget, and at target margin2. Always Be Driving RevenueWhile not a pure sales role, you are embedded in the revenue processBuild and maintain relationships with carriers, consultants, and clientsIdentify opportunities for additional scope, change orders, and future work3. Execute with Speed and UrgencyStart jobs quickly and push projects to completion without delaysRemove bottlenecks and keep all stakeholders aligned on timelinesLead teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, especially during CAT events4. Build World-Class Documentation & Process DisciplineEnsure all project documentation is thorough, accurate, and defensibleDrive consistency in estimating, reporting, and file managementEnforce operational standards across all phases of the project5. Deliver an Exceptional Client ExperienceOwn the client relationship from start to finishEnsure high satisfaction, clear communication, and strong outcomesDrive repeat business and referral opportunities on every project6.
