In addition, OHI is involved in over 200 cutting-edge research studies across the vast amount of specialties within the system. Responsibilities: Communicates with patients regarding physician/provider instructions, diagnostic procedures and results, medication changes and disease processes.Identifies and assesses patient problems and returns calls within 48 hours for triage messages.Writes orders for diagnostics and procedures.Reviews and understands laboratory testing basic ECG knowledge and addresses abnormal values before the patient has a diagnostic test or procedure requiring pre-screening laboratory testing.Manages patients utilizing the anti-coagulation protocol guidelines and documents utilization appropriately in EPIC. Qualifications: Job Requirements: Associates Degree in NursingCurrent ACLSBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:Bachelors DegreePrevious cardiology nursing experience
