We are Dover Precision Components, SummaryThe Plant Manager assumes overall responsibility for safety performance, productivity performance, delivery performance, financial profit and loss, and production quality. The Plant Manager is also responsible to continuously improve processes through CI activities, lean initiatives, employee involvement, drive and monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).ResponsibilitiesLeadershipCoordinates resources to satisfy both internal and external customers; to deliver superior products and quality service in a fast-paced environment that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectationsOversees and directs all operations departments including Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service and Manufacturing Engineering; directs operations personnel in optimization of plant facilities and assigns maintenance prioritiesPromotes the utilization of statistical and process visual measurements to manage the operation and deliver customer satisfaction and world class qualityFinancial ResponsibilityResponsible for P&L Statements, and daily reports to ensure continued growth in productivity and efficiency, with demonstrated ability to drive product margin and overall profitability, is preferredWork within and create new proposals for accurate workforce planning, operating expense, and capital expenditure budgetsContinuous Improvement (CI)Supports the implementation and training of CI principles within a production environment. Implements best practices and improvements that have been identified by the Company, leadership, and employeesChampions process improvement and lean manufacturing activities; oversees the implementation of best practices across manufacturing operations Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience required5+ years of management experienceExperience in the oil and gas industry preferredExperience with ISO or TS quality standardsThe ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:A high-performance and strategically inspired, passionate business leader with proven experience leading full, operational P&L responsibility and experience within a multi-layer, long lead-time manufacturing environmentA broad technical background, across a wide range of end-markets and technologies A team player who displays self-accountability and can demonstrate the Company’s core valuesWork Arrangement : OnsitePay Range: $145,000.00 - $160,000.00Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
