Assists with material handling equipment and facility repairs.Each employee is responsible for the food safety and quality of our productsIndependently perform semi-skilled preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on various types of equipment and machinery within the facility, as noted in the equipment manufacturer's guidelinesPerform complex troubleshooting and repairs on low/high voltage electrical power and control systems, bearings, sprockets, motors, belts and other moving partsRespond to emergency maintenance requests; troubleshoot to determine root cause and solutionInspect equipment and perform preventive maintenanceAssemble, install, replace, repair, modify and adjust all types of small operating equipmentDisassemble equipment, replace parts, relocate and reassemble equipmentDirect work of Tech I and Tech II Crew Members; instruct on equipment repair/maintenanceAble to work night shift and occasional weekendsComplete other duties as assignedQualifications:EducationHigh school diploma or GEDMust have knowledge of single and three phases electric, AC DC, high and low voltagesExperience8 + years of experience in facility maintenance/preventative equipment maintenance of Food Processing Equipment: Experience with Food Processing Equipment is a plusVacuum Packaging: Experience with RollStock and Repack machines is a plusSkillsPossess the ability to learn various software programs associated with the facilityPossess strong technical, mechanical, and analytical skillsPossess the ability to interact and communicate with all staff and management in EnglishAble to deal with difficult situations, resolve issues and concerns in a professional mannerWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.*The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco's actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison.
