The incumbent assists in ensuring all garments are labeled and marked in preparation for packaging and shipment.This is a temporary, full-time position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on a specified end date or earlier if circumstances require. It is expected that the position will last for up to 6 months, with possible availability to move into a full-time and permanent role based on production needs and job performance.Pay: $16.00 per hourDay Shift Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - FridayResponsibilitiesReceives sewn product and verifies product informationAssists in setting up and aligning screens, plates, inks in preparation for printingLoads and unloads printing equipmentMay manually apply print to productIdentifies and replaces misprinted or unacceptable garmentsAssists in mixing inks, creating screens and platesKeeps screens and plates cleanMaintains and cleans machine and work areaMust be able to detect color variations to ensure print integrityCoordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignmentsPerforms general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areasQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent highly preferred.Basic math, reading and writing requiredExperience in a fast paced production environment preferredHigh degree of accuracy in counting and comparing informationExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be able to effectively communicate with the teamMust be able to understand and communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions, training, and team communications. Candidates must be able to successfully complete interviews and assessments fully in English with no translation services provided in order to assess English proficiency.Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per dayMust be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items up to 25lbs. alone (or occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with two people)Operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs.Stand and move throughout the shiftThe nature of this work is physical demanding and fast-pacedWork overtime, if needed, based on production needsAbout UsChurch employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work.
