Position Overview The Human Resources Coordinator is an integral part of the Human Resources team, contributing to a wide range of daily Human Resources functions. This role is responsible for recruitment (for both domestic and international roles), coordinating the employee onboarding process, including Day 1 orientation, and actively contributing to benefits administration. The Human Resources Coordinator will collaborate with hiring managers to identify top talent, streamline the recruiting process, and cultivate a positive candidate experience. As the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator will maintain accurate data, ensure compliance with labor standards, and contribute to a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities Plays a vital role in daily HR operations; works closely under the supervisor of the Manager, Human Resources to provide efficient partnership across diverse HR functions Responsible for recruiting activities including job postings, sourcing for candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and sending offer paperwork, for domestic and international roles Coordinates all orientation/onboarding activities (including new hire paperwork, facilitating day one orientation, completing I-9s, and working with managers to ensure successful employee assimilation) Administers benefit-related tasks including but not limited to participating in open enrollment process, processing enrollments, changes and terminations, reconciling benefit statements, and responding to all employee benefit inquiries Processes data entry, verifications, and data audits within HR systems, upholding data integrity and accuracy Develops and maintains HR content and communications, including drafting, sending, and saving emails/announcements, as well as updating the Human Resources internal website, and managing employee wellness program communications Tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings; follows up to ensure training objectives are met Utilizes current Human Resources Information System /Payroll system to enter employee transactions for hires, exits, benefits, changes, and reports Participates in employee engagement activities, including playing a key role in the US employee activity committee (EAC) Participates in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts Project Support: Act as a resource for various team projects across all HR functions, contributing to the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects Assists with Human Resources systems, reporting, compliance and safety activities, performance and wage programs, and related personnel and company duties as needed Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field One to two years’ HR or relevant experience Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint knowledge required) Knowledge of employment laws preferred Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills; outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills Solutions-oriented, forward-thinking professional Strong attention to detail, time management and multitasking abilities required Ability to maintain confidentiality Desire to work as a team with a “results driven” approach Demonstrates high sense of urgency and focus on employee experience Desire to learn, flexibility to grow with the position and adapt to changes Experience delivering against ambitious targets, in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment Working Conditions/Physical & Mental Demands The physical demands and working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Standard office environment. Significant computer work should be expected. Hybrid work schedule; minimum of three days on-site per week, with the possibility of additional on-site days based on business needs. Up to two days of remote work per week are permitted.
