Senior Accountant

Overview:A rapidly growing retail, wholesale, and logistics company in the Miami area is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its expanding finance operations. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, inventory and cost accounting, and month-end close, working closely with leadership while owning critical accounting processes.Responsibilities:Lead month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statementsManage inventory and cost accounting (COGS, margins, valuations)Oversee AP/AR processes and support auditsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisIdentify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controlsRequirements (Must-Haves):Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–3+ years of accounting experienceStrong general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting experienceHands-on experience with inventory and cost accountingAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systemsProven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
