VHS is seeking to employ a full-time Gastroenterology physician to join a thriving practice of one physician and one nurse practitioner. No advanced procedures required. Flexible schedule for work/life balance. Hospital is a 131 bed hospital servicing 200,000+ area residents. Hospital is underway with a $90M expansion project.The City of Zachary is a close neighbor of Baton Rouge just 10 miles away with easy access to LSU and the metro airport. Requires 10 days of paid call coverage per month, mostly inpatient consults and some phone calls. 32 days of paid time off annually and 5 CME days.
