Regional Youth Minister

Résumés are now being accepted for the position of Regional Youth Minister (Full-time) at the Catholic Partner Parishes (St. James Parish and St. Katharine Drexel Parish) and St. Oscar Romero Parish.The Regional Youth Minister is responsible for fostering connection and growth of a vibrant faith community between the Catholic Partner Parishes and St. Oscar Romero Parish which includes: community development between the youth; codeveloping and implementing catechetical programs for the youth; spiritual formation of the youth; active youth worship (FOPs); and service opportunities; co-planning and leading weekly youth gatherings, semester specific retreats, and service projects, as well as providing pastoral care and support to teens and their families at both parishes. The ideal candidate will have a heart for evangelization, strong leadership skills, and a desire to accompany young people as they grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
