Business SME - Crew Management

We are looking for a Business Subject Matter Expert with deep hands-on experience in airline crew operations. This role requires real-world operational decision-making experience in crew scheduling, legality, and disruption management. Mandatory Qualifications10+ years of airline operations experience with direct crew involvementExperience making or influencing crew-related operational decisionsBackground working in OCC/IOC or live operations environmentsWillingness to work onsite in DFW Experience Indicators (Minimum 2 Required)Owned crew scheduling or re-rostering decisionsExperience resolving crew legality/FAR complianceManaged crew recovery during disruptions (IROPs)Real-time crew reassignment experienceAccountable for operational outcomesBalanced cost, compliance, and recovery trade-offs Key ResponsibilitiesServe as SME for crew scheduling, rostering, and complianceSupport real-time operational decision-making during disruptionsWork with business and technical teams to define requirementsValidate solutions against real-world operational scenariosSupport system testing and UATCreate reports and dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Track work using Jira, Rally, ConfluenceAssist in training and documentation Required Qualifications12+ years in airline crew operations (scheduling/control/recovery)Strong understanding of crew planning and regulatory complianceExperience with reporting and project toolsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
