General Counsel-Employment & Benefits
Our client, a multi-billion dollar global technology manufacturer, is seeking an experienced lawyer to serve as General Counsel, Employment, Benefits and Compliance. This is a hybrid role and will be located at their offices in Minnesota.Responsibilities for this role include the following:Lead the global employment & benefits law and compliance functions, overseeing a team of professionals who support the Integrity & Compliance function and provide employment advice in the Europe and Asia Pacific regions.Support executive compensation matters, including matters such as stock plans, officer and director compensation, and Compensation Committee actions.Be a strategic partner to the General Counsel, the CHRO and global business leaders on a variety of related issues.Applicant must have the following requirements in order to be considered:At least 12 years substantial employment and traditional labor law experience, including experience both at a law firm and in-house for a U.S. publicly traded companyExperience with employment law matters and litigation outside the United States.Demonstrated experience in shaping organizational direction and policy, and advising executives, around employment and benefits legal risk and compliance at an enterprise level.Proven track record of managing legal teams and complex legal operations across diverse geographic regions.
