About Wellbore IntegrityHeadquartered in Houston, Texas, Wellbore Integrity Solutions was established by industry veterans with extensive experience in the wellbore integrity (Fishing & Remedial) market space and global operating experience in oilfield services, manufacturing and E&P. Through the assets and technologies WIS acquires, we will provide wellsite services aimed at optimizing and extending the life of oil, gas and geothermal wells. These services will include a wide range of well intervention services that extend from fishing and remedial to slot recovery, coiled tubing to final well abandonment and more.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESComplies with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies. Wears all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required & maintains required HS&E & SQ certifications up to dateComplies with the requirements of various specifications such as API, Blueprints, Calibration, DRILCO Machine Shop Standard and is both knowledgeable and competent in their use and applicationMaintains work areas and all associated equipment in an orderly, calibrated, and certified condition, ready for audit and the next useConducts and documents daily preventative maintenance tasks on lathes, load stations, etc.Performs Risk Analysis (e.g., HARC, JSA) before each job or task and identifies & addresses potential safety hazards. Corrects and report hazards immediately to direct supervisorExecutes successful jobs as per the request of the client. Recognizes all risks associated with the machining process and reduces these risks to as low as reasonably possible. Sets up and calibrates equipment, successfully performs the required dimensional inspections, evaluates, and interprets results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specificationsEffectively communicate inspection results to customers and supervisors, while following written procedures of the inspection process. Deliver quality results through accurate adherence Company policy and procedures as well as Industry specific standards as requested by the clientCompletes all the required pre and post job documentation and job tickets on time and without errors as per company policyEnsures production/throughput information is entered in the TMS per work order dailyEnsures that all completed job documentation is submitted into the TMS and/or direct supervisor upon completion for expedited customer billing/invoicingSafely and efficiently utilizes all tools and equipment to support the timely completion of assigned work orders and/or assigned duties, and to optimize throughput.Leads and supports continuous improvement projectsDevelops technical knowledge through on-the-job training and certification classesWorks with Manager to prepare for future career opportunitiesCoaches and mentors less experienced machinist, machinist trainees, and rack hand personnel.Handles special projects as assignedAll other duties as assigned by Supervisor MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience with Manual and CNC Lathes preferredMinimum of one-year experience in related field (will vary depending on level I, II, III)Must be willing to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/dayKnowledge of hand power tools, (i.e., grinders)Must be able to stand for extended periods of timeExcellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing your work on timeBasic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power PointStrong communication skills, including verbal, written and nonverbal communicationStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowDiversity, Inclusion, and Equal OpportunityWe believe that diversity is critical to our mission, and we value an inclusive culture.
