We are united by a common mission: to deliver services and technology that fundamentally change how skilled workers and the businesses they serve get hard work done.Job Description:Compression Mechanic responsible for overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of compressors and all equipment associated with compressor systems. Serves as the primary point of contact between compressor rental/service companies and the production foreman/maintenance foreman. Determines the cause of mechanical failures to identify ways to prevent future failures, including compressor performance, troubleshooting, and environmental concerns. Supports EH&S departments in ensuring compliance with Air Emissions permits. Coordinates with operations staff for compressor adjustments for gas lift systems and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operation and maintenance of compressors and associated equipment.Act as the primary liaison between compressor rental/service providers and the production/maintenance foremen.Diagnose mechanical failures and identify corrective and preventive actions.Perform compressor performance checks and troubleshooting.Address environmental concerns related to compressor operations as needed.Support EH&S compliance activities related to Air Emissions permits.Coordinate compressor adjustments for gas lift systems with operations staff.Coordinate and execute PM schedules.Skills and Qualifications:PEC Safeland Certification (must be obtained prior to beginning the role; cannot be older than 60 months).ANSI Z390.1-2017 instructor-led H2S training (required).Location: Pecos, TXSchedule: 10 on / 4 off, 8 hours per day, 7:00 AM start.Pay: $41.58/hr
