Laundry Attendant Job Description The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service at Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center by processing, washing, drying, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSort and process incoming laundry according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirementsOperate industrial washing and drying equipment safely and efficientlyFollow proper chemical handling procedures and maintain appropriate cleaning solution levelsFold and organize clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to department standardsInspect textiles for stains, damage, or wear and handle accordinglyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facilityTrack inventory of linens and suppliesSupport other departments with linen needs as requiredComply with all safety regulations and proceduresReport any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisorMaintain a clean and organized work environmentRequired Skills and AbilitiesPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repeated bending, stretching, and liftingAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularlyStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic mathematical skills for measuring cleaning solutionsEffective communication skillsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidaysWorking ConditionsWork is performed indoors in a laundry facility environmentExposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicalsRegular physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and liftingOperation of industrial laundry equipmentExperiencePrevious laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not requiredTraining will be providedThe Company offers competitive pay and benefits including:Health Insurance (after qualifying period)401(k) Plan participationPaid Time OffHoliday PayVilla Roma Resort & Conference Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
