Job Title: Research NurseLocation: North Chicago, IL, 60030Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension) Hours could be 0-40All shifts as needed (645-1515, 1445-2315, 2245-0715) possibly 12 hour shifts too (primarily weekend 0645-1915, 1845-0715) or doubles on the weekend 0645-2315.This means that your work schedule can vary, and you'll need to be flexible with the hours.Regular shifts: You might work from early morning to mid-afternoon (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), mid-afternoon to late evening (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), or overnight (10:45 PM to 7:15 AM).Longer shifts (12 hours): On weekends, you could work longer shifts from early morning to early evening (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM) or from evening to early the next morning (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM).Double shifts on weekends: Occasionally, you might need to work an extra-long shift on the weekend, from early morning until late at night (6:45 AM to 11:15 PM).So, the job could require working different hours each day, longer shifts on weekends, and possibly covering back-to-back shifts.Could ask for 4 hour shifts too for some studiesICU is preferred, telemetry, or emergency room experienceAt least 1year experienceActive Illinois licenseRole and Responsibilities:Participate in the execution of protocol activities of a Phase I clinical research study conducted at the Phase 1 Unit.Maintain safety and confidentiality of study subjects throughout the studyEvaluate adverse events and manage safety reporting activities in a timely manner.Review protocols and informed consent forms for scheduled studies, identify, and communicate potential issues to the appropriate personnel.Participate in nursing study related activities as required by protocol in compliance with corporate, divisional, and depart-mental SOP’s and external (CFR, ICH, GCP) regulatory guidelines.Communicate with the Principal Investigator and other study physicians, Recruiting/Screening, Data Systems, and other personnel to organize study-specific nursing activities.Participate in quality and compliance improvement initiatives and provide feedback as appropriate.Maintain accurate and complete source data in eSource and/or other source documents and facilitate the resolution of source discrepancies or issues, as appropriate.Facilitate training of new nursing personnel and ensure management is apprised of trainee progress.Participate independently in the recruitment and screening activities to ensure appropriate enrollment of subjects into studies scheduled at the Phase 1 Unit.Must have nursing skills (Start IVs, computer, dressings, assessment skills to name a few)About Us: Established in 2004, SPECTRAFORCE® is one of the largest and fastest-growing diversity-owned staffing firms in the US.
