You just found it.Job Purpose and Function:In this key role, the Sr. Manager, Engineering oversees the engineering groups at High Purity New England (HPNE). The position is responsible for building a high-performing engineering organization that delivers business impact reliably and within the framework of the business. This position will also focus on aligning engineering activities and projects with HPNE goals and objectives. The Sr Manager will develop strategies, systems, workflows, process improvements and solutions for HPNE to support the success of the clients.Key Duties and Responsibilities:The responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee all activities and projects for the HPNE engineering departmentManage a group of engineers that create mechanical designs and a group that handles new product developmentProvide technical strategy, direction and expertiseProvide development plans for the engineersManage and lead engineering projects and resolve all related issuesWork cross-functionally with production, marketing, sales, quality and leadership teamsPrioritize and allocate resources to successfully complete projectsManage, train and cross train to maximize the team's competenciesCreate an environment and workflows to support continuous improvementManage and resolve engineering related customer complaintsResearch and develop innovative engineering ideas to keep HPNE competitive in the marketplacePerform other projects and duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organizationRequired Skills and Abilities:Proven track record of leadership abilityExceptional leadership in managing engineersExperience required with ISO 9001Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent project management skillsExperience with developing innovative products and projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-makingExperience with managing multiple prioritiesExcellent organizational and planning skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staffStrong conflict resolution skillsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree preferredMinimum 5 years' experience in engineering managementExtensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development and designSolidWorks experience preferredExperience with multiple engineering disciplinesExperience with project managementKnowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards (GMP production)Experience with ISO 9001/14001 requiredProficient with Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements:* Required to sit, stand, walk and move around the warehouse* Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsSupervision/Management Of Others:* Responsible for engineering team members and other staffSalary range: $175,000 - $200,000, depending upon experience + 25% bonus target.#LI-JF1 #LI-HybridAbout usWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
