The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing executive-level guidance, and driving company-wide financial efficiency. This includes extensive experience in WIP accounting, job costing, and financial reporting, as well as the ability to communicate insights effectively to the executive team. The CFO will also lead the Controller and the accounting/finance team, maintain strong project cost controls, and work closely with operations and project management to ensure accurate project financials, protect margins, manage risk, and drive overall financial performance. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have 7-10+ years of experience in financial leadership within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of WIP accounting principles and project cost controls. An MBA, CPA certification, or equivalent financial qualification is preferred. The role requires a proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams, expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year planning, and excellent analytical skills for risk assessment and mitigation. Experience with financial systems and tools, including dashboards and reporting platforms, is also essential.
