The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.This Youth Apprenticeship - Receptionist will locate information in the patient record, create and maintain record, navigate the patient record, assist with appointments, answer phones, perform basic payment collection, order supplied, perform inventory, demonstrate customer service skills, and other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or olderInterpersonal skills and ability to work in a teamStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenInterest in pursuing a career in healthcareWillingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environmentBasic understanding of medical terminology helpfulBEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDEThe mission of Beloit Health System requires the employee to perform in a manner which ensures delivery of the highest quality of medical services at an economic value and at the highest level of patient satisfaction.
