Certified Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (TTH) - Certified HVAC Preferred Location: Melissa, TX 75454 Schedule: Monday through Friday Pay: $22-$24/hr if hired on (placement rate adjusted based on skill level) We're seeking a strong, reliable Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire role with a well-run property management team. Certified HVAC is ideal, but experienced Techs without certification will be considered. This role also includes Make-Ready responsibilities, so versatility and solid technical ability are key. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance repairs across the property Complete make-ready tasks efficiently and to standard Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (if certified) Respond to work orders and resident service requests Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Communicate issues promptly to the property manager Requirements Certified HVAC preferred, but strong Techs accepted Proven experience in property maintenance Ability to handle MR tasks independently Strong troubleshooting and repair skills Reliable, professional, and able to work with minimal supervision Dress Code Solid color polo (navy, grey, or black) Khaki pants or maintenance-style pants Jeans acceptable Benefits Through BGSF Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options (where eligible) PTO or sick leave where required by state/local law Referral bonus opportunities About BGSF BGSF specializes in property management staffing, connecting qualified professionals with apartment communities nationwide for temporary, contract, and long-term opportunities.
