Site Supervisor

Illumination Health + Home is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children's and family programs. IH+H currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.RoleThe Site Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients. The Site Coordinator is responsible for enforcing facility rules, assisting with client needs, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the site.The starting pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for $1.00 swing shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this role is 12:00PM to 8:30PM Workdays may vary.ResponsibilitiesClient Care & SupportTrain and educate all new hire site attendancesCreate a hard copy of assignments for all site attendanceAssist site staff with client intakes by preparing client bed area and ensuring bedding and surrounding areas are clean and ready prior to client arrivalAssist site staff with client move-outs, including the packing of belongings and final room sanitationConduct routine wellness check-ins with clients and site staffFacility walk-throughs to ensure facility cleanliness in client rooms and staff officePerform scheduled and unscheduled screenings of client belongings to ensure compliance with site rules and to prevent prohibited items from entering the facilityPerform any other duties assigned by leadership to support client care and facility operationsMeal Preparation & Food SafetyEnsure meals are served in a timely manner in accordance with food safety standards (e.g., proper food storage, temperature control, hand hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention)Ensure kitchen sanitization before and after every meal service, including countertops, prep areas, and utensilsDisinfected client common areas after every meal, including tables, and chairsSanitation & HousekeepingEnsure site staff is using universal precautions during any sanitizing, including proper PPE usage and the safe handling/disposal of bodily fluids. Follow biohazard protocols when cleaning up spills or contaminationAssisting site staff with routine janitorial duties daily, including:Sweeping and mopping all floors (client rooms, hallways, kitchen).Vacuuming carpeted areas.Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.Cleaning windows, walls, and vents weekly or as needed.Conduct deep cleaning of client dorms/rooms weekly or upon discharge, including disinfecting mattresses, wiping down all surfaces, laundering linens, and checking for pests or damage.Transportation & Vehicle MaintenanceOccasionally driving clients to and from scheduled appointments and program activities, ensuring timely and safe transport in compliance with organizational protocols.Pick up client medications from pharmaciesEnsure daily transportation logs are updated (mileage, trip purposes, and any issues during transit)Inspect all company vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.Ensure vehicles are being sanitized daily (steering wheel, seatbelts, door handles, gear shift, dashboard) before and after each use.ExpectationsWe uphold the values of Community, Action, Respect, and Empowerment in all aspects of our work.Community We lead with the vision of a strengthened and compassionate community for all.
