Kitchen Prep / Dish Wash

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Prep / Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen to deliver high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations, with a passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary needs Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment Support catering events and food service operations as needed Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Follow proper knife skills and culinary techniques to optimize food quality Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Qualifications Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred Background in food industry, restaurant, or culinary settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Proficiency in menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent food service skills including serving and catering experience Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior kitchen experience or culinary training is a plus Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in food preparation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Paid training Referral program Work Location: In person
