Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,057 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 5/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Acute Care - ICU Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Days/Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Must-Have: - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Computer literacy Description: ICU RN position with variable schedule. Shifts are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Full-time position requiring commitment to provide care during assigned shifts. Certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Basic Coronary Care certification is required within six months of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within two years of hire. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is recommended within two years of hire. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. This includes the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. The individual will provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrated behaviors consistent with professional standards and effective communication are essential.
