This position plays a key role in maintaining Clayton Construction’s reputation for excellence, safety, and long-term client partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionManage and coordinate project teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, and vendorsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestonesMonitor project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measuresReview and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concernsLead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholdersIdentify risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overrunsOversee procurement of materials and subcontractor agreementsEnsure job sites remain clean, organized, and secure at all timesQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in commercial construction managementProven experience managing projects such as retail, office, medical, educational, or industrial facilitiesStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesProficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as neededOSHA 30 certification or strong knowledge of workplace safety standardsExperience with design-build project delivery methodsFamiliarity with budgeting, value engineering, and competitive bidding processesBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysPowered by JazzHRX7tBhbHDCj
