Experience/Education/Skillsets Needed: - Good understanding of communication skills - Understands principals of good customer service Job Requirements Include: - Help Customers: o Learn store inventory and where product is located and information about it o Learn cash register and help checkout customers o Desire to go above and beyond to help the customer o Ability to handle a disgruntled customer - Manage Area: o Keep inventory organized and stocked in your assigned area o Use inventory management system to keep track of inventory in your assigned area and make sure inventory is stocked and ordered/transferred as necessary o Understands organization, cleanliness, and basic store management and will help to ensure company policies are being followed to ensure a clean store, stocked shelfs, and friendly customer service o Ability to create displays and endcaps in your area on existing shelf space - Trains other workers: o Will eventually train part-time and new employee on store policies and procedures - Must be able to perform all general store procedures: o Checkout customers and use POS system o General inventory stocking/maintenance and inventory count o Help customers load car, etc. - Drive a fork truck - Supervise and work with other employees - Learn store product and company polices and oversee/train other employees Desirable skills (Not required) Include: - Knowledge on a relative product category in store (farming products, animal products, power equipment, pet goods, clothing, etc.) Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. / maneuver 100lbs - Must be able to work on feet during entire shift - Must be able to work outside to help customers, move product, load product, etc. Job Type: Full-time Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Fort Madison, IA 52627 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Fort Madison, IA 52627: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
