Partner Level Attorney - Uniondale, NY (Long Island)Mazoogi Staffing & Recruiting is partnered with a well-established New York litigation firm seeking a Senior Attorney to lead its Long Island office. This is a high-autonomy, partner-track opportunity for an experienced litigator looking to step into a leadership role with an existing pipeline of cases already in place.The ideal candidate will have 6–10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience and the ability to independently manage matters from inception through trial. This role is especially attractive for experienced litigators or solo practitioners looking to transition away from managing the operational side of a practice while maintaining significant professional independence.Responsibilities:Independently manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters including:Labor lawConstruction litigationPremises liabilityMotor vehicle claimsProperty damageGeneral liability mattersHandle all phases of litigation, including:PleadingsDiscoveryDepositionsMotion practiceMediationsTrial preparation and trial workServe as the senior attorney overseeing the Uniondale office alongside two junior associates and support staffMentor junior attorneys and help shape the long-term growth and direction of the officeAppear regularly in courts throughout the NYC metropolitan area and surrounding regionsOperate with significant autonomy while collaborating remotely with firm leadershipQualifications:6–10+ years of insurance defense litigation experienceActive New York Bar admission in good standingStrong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experienceAbility to independently manage a litigation caseload with minimal oversightTrial experience strongly preferredLeadership or mentorship experience is a plusComp and Benefits:Base salary ranging from $150,000 – $200,000 depending on experiencePerformance-based bonus structureRelocation assistance for the right candidateEstablished support infrastructure and steady caseloadNo portable book of business required
