Plant Manager

OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead all aspects of manufacturing operations in a fast-paced automotive production environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience within a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment and a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including the Toyota Production System.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and logisticsDrive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departmentsLead and develop a team of supervisors and department managers to meet and exceed KPIsEnsure compliance with customer requirements, including OEM standards (Toyota, Nissan, etc.)Implement and sustain lean manufacturing initiatives (TPS, Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction)Manage plant financial performance including budgets, cost control, and capital planningOversee production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet delivery targetsPartner with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term operational goalsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (preferred)7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Tier 1 automotiveDemonstrated success managing production teams and achieving operational KPIsStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience working with OEM customers and meeting strict quality standardsProven ability to lead through change and drive cultural transformationExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience with exhaust systems, metal fabrication, or assembly manufacturingBackground supporting customers such as Toyota, or other major OEMsFamiliarity with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and automotive quality systemsManaging multiple facilitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary + performance-based bonusComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchOpportunity to lead a critical operation within a growing organization
