The individual in this position will work closely with operational leaders and employees throughout the facility, serving as a trusted resource and key business partner across day-to-day operations. The environment is fast paced, highly collaborative, and ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, relationship building, and being actively involved in the business.The team is looking for someone who is confident, adaptable, professional, and motivated to continue growing within Human Resources over time.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee & Labor RelationsServe as a primary HR contact for employees, supervisors, and operational leadershipSupport employee relations matters including workplace concerns, policy interpretation, attendance management, coaching conversations, and performance discussionsAssist with investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolutionPartner closely with leadership to ensure consistent and compliant HR practicesBuild strong working relationships across all levels of the organization while maintaining professionalism and confidentialityLeave Administration & Workers' CompensationManage FMLA, ADA, and leave of absence processesCoordinate workers' compensation administration and return-to-work processesPartner with third-party vendors to ensure accurate documentation and complianceCommunicate directly with employees and supervisors regarding accommodations, restrictions, and leave updatesMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationRecruiting & OnboardingLead full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly manufacturing positionsConduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managersFacilitate onboarding and new hire orientation processesPartner with leadership to improve recruiting strategies and hiring processesSupport a positive candidate and new hire experienceEmployee Engagement & HR OperationsCoordinate employee engagement initiatives and facility eventsConduct exit interviews and support employee offboardingProcess employee status changes including transfers, new hires, and terminationsAssist with HR reporting, administrative tasks, and additional projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferredOpen to strong recent graduates with internship or relevant HR experienceApproximately 2–5 years of HR experience preferred, ideally within manufacturing, operations, employee relations, or labor-focused environmentsUnderstanding of federal and state employment laws and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to navigate difficult conversations professionally and confidentlyComfortable working directly within a manufacturing environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingExperience with Microsoft Excel and HR systems preferredWhy This Opportunity Stands OutHighly visible HR role with direct interaction with operational leadershipStrong opportunity for long-term career growth and advancementExposure to a wide variety of HR functions including employee relations, labor relations, recruiting, onboarding, and leave administrationCollaborative team environment with strong internal supportStable and growing organization with a strong reputation in manufacturingOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on employees and operationsBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company contribution and profit sharing opportunitiesPaid parental leaveTuition assistance and professional development supportWellness-focused employee programs and resourcesLong-term stability and career advancement opportunitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who wants to grow within a dynamic environment while gaining meaningful experience in employee relations, operational partnership, and workforce support.
