Overview As Tool Install Lead Process Engineer, you drive design and execution of tool install systems for high-purity processes. You will lead or mentor a design team from concept to construction documents, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule aligned with project goals. You’ll support on-site execution as a technical consultant and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. This role focuses on repeatable, high‑quality process system designs for ATF/LSC projects and cross-functional collaboration. ResponsibilitiesLead or work with a team to create and document designs meeting project scope and standardsDevelop tool install designs from concept through construction documentsQuality control and approval of concepts, basis of design, PFDs, P&IDs, piping/equipment plans, specs, cost, and scheduleMonitor team progress to keep design tasks on trackContribute to Tool Install Knowledge Center and Continuous Improvement PlanSupport on-site project execution and act as technical consultantAssist Project Design Manager with fee development, change orders, QA, scheduling, and coordinationLead Task Force coordinating with Regional System Experts to develop standard tools for lean executionMentor and train junior staffDevelop manpower and labor cost estimates for projectsProvide specialized input to studies and designDevelop design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective workDevelop conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents including P&ID calculations and operation sequencesCoordinate with project team, other disciplines, and design officesEnsure inputs from other disciplines are incorporatedOther duties as assigned Key requirements8+ years of experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseExperience leading teams and workgroups on small to medium projectsStrong knowledge of core Process Systems and industry codes/standardsExperience with on-site project support and interdisciplinary coordinationBackground in continuous improvement processesExperience in quality control review processesExperience in lean design and execution principlesStrong communication and team collaboration skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Team player with ability to build relationshipsMentoring and training capabilityDetailed understanding of core Process Systems used in ATF/LSC projectsKnowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and sequences of operationUnderstanding of industry codes and standards for process design
