And our focus on continuous innovation means we're always ready to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials; managing, organizing, and retrieving stock; and keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. Must be detail oriented and accurate with item numbers, inventory locations, inbound/outbound procedures, and possess the ability to communicate internally and externally the status of parts-related issues.REPORTS TO: Site Operations ManagerResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and stock shipments from carriersUnpack and check shipments received against inbound alertsFill customer orders quickly, promptly, accuratelyFollow Standard Operating Procedures from clientsHandle outbound shipments to be shipped by local courier or overnight carriersEnter data into computer systemHandle inventory and cycle counts as neededQualificationsHigh School diploma/GEDMust be able to lift at least 30 lbsExcellent phone and computer skills necessaryMust be able to use ladders, step stools and can stand for long periodsMust be able to work safely from heightsMust be dependable and be flexible with hoursAmerican Expediting is an equal opportunity employer.
