This role requires critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and efficiency. The RN serves as a resource for students and new caregivers and participates in quality improvement initiatives.Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with Pre-operative care RN to assess patient needs and procedure requirements.Perform ongoing assessments and document changes from baseline status.Develop, implement, and communicate individualized plans of care.Respond to patient comfort needs and health information requests.Apply principles of aseptic practice and monitor compliance within the surgical team.Educate and reassure patients and families.Utilize evidence-based research to enhance patient outcomes.Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing care.Document equipment usage and assist with inventory management.Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.Float to other departments or nursing units as needed.Participate in on-call duties during scheduled shifts.Required Qualifications:ASN or Nursing Diploma.Current RN license in the state of practice.BLS (AHA) certification.ACLS (AHA) certification.Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.Experience with GI equipment tech operations.Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and presenting technical information.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Regular attendance during scheduled business hours or shifts.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.QUALIFICATION/LICENSUREWork Authorization : US CitizenPreferred years of experience : 2 yearsTravel required : No travel requiredShift timings : DaysRightSourcing IHS Job ID #37256387.
